Nothing change after 14.72 software installation. Still my Fenix 6 X battery keeps only ~ 72 hours, ~1.3%/h, ~31.27%/day. Same behavior for me after updating to 14.72 beta. Went for a 3h15min run this morning and the watch went from 100% battery to 43% ! Again, the watch was working perfectly fine before january.
2. There is a bug that often shows the wrong battery amount during and immediately after charging the device - i.e it may say 62% but it's actually higher/lower. For me and many others, the true amount is shown again after a reboot. 3. Many including myself see some form of post GPS activity battery drain.
Since a few weeks, I have a problem with my Fenix 5. When I connect it to a computer (Windows 10), the watch is not recognized as a device (i.e. does not show up at all in the Explorer) - its also not shown in connected USB devices. It does charge however. Tried on three different computers with two different cables.

I've had a Fenix 5 Plus for about 9 months now. I'm currently on firmware version 6.0 - the lastest public release. Since mid/late February this year, the battery life has drained very rapidly. After being fully charged, it lasts about 24 hours in smartwatch mode (ie without engaging the GPS). Is anyone else experiencing accelerated battery drain?
Fenix 7 Battery drain. Experiencing huge battery drain with the Garmin Fenix 7. I’m using the backlight at 20% with a 4 second timeout, gps only, pulse ox on manual, music off, wifi off and software version 10.43. I’m getting 8 days out of a full charge, is anyone else experiencing this? A dedicated community for Garmin users to ask
You get all of those same features on the Garmin fēnix 6 plus a couple of extra perks. This model is equipped with battery saving modes, a Pulse Ox sensor, Garmin Pay, and the new PacePro feature.
Garmin Fenix 6 Series; Garmin Fenix 7 Series; Garmin Venu 2 and Venu 2 Plus; Garmin Venu Sq and Venu 2 Sq; so can drain the battery, and it's one you'll also need to pay $1.99 for.
